Hello friends, and welcome to the world of power animals. Today we’ll look at the weasel. There are 17 types of weasels in the world which also includes minks, polecats, and ferrets. In North America, there are the long-tail weasels, the short tail weasels, and the least weasels. They’re small carnivores with elongated slender bodies, long necks, and short limbs. Weasels have sharp teeth and claws with fur that is short but dense. The quiet weasel adapts well in different habitats including grasslands, open woodlands, and farmlands. They can survive in summer or winter and usually live in abandoned tunnels, hollowed-out logs, or nests under rocks. Because of their narrow bodies, weasels can pursue and capture rodents in their burrows, chasing them through holes, under bushes, up trees, and into water. They’re brave, bold, and aggressive predators that hunt alone. They pursue their goals ferociously but always knows how to wiggle their way out of difficult situations. The small weasel is fast, smart, and focused. They know how to take advantage of any new opportunity since they’re very observant and can blend in to be almost invisible.

Weasels have keen senses and are not easily fooled. They’re agile, ingenuous, and self-reliant. Weasels are symbols of vigilance, cunning, tenacity, and stealth. When you need to re-evaluate your situation and regain your confidence, call on the spirit of the weasel as an ally.
