CAE: Character Lab Test Drive

I'm trying something new. Something more interactive. The Character Lab is what I call this game. When I was very young, my father would sometimes draw a picture when tucking in me and my brother. It was usually an image of a car (he liked police cruisers) or a Superman symbol. He'd ask us, and if he could draw he would. If he couldn't (kids have big imaginations and there's only so much time before bed) he'd talk us into to something he could tackle. Years later my sister would, paper and pencil in hand, ask me and my brother a series of questions about a character she was drawing. Does he/she fly? If so, how? Do they have an energy blast, or carry a gun? Are they big like The HULK or fast like The FLASH? And so on. It was our version of a superhero style D&D character sheet. In the end there would be a crazy, or cool, or BOTH, character to have fun with. I used this game in leu of bedtime stories whenever I was drafted to babysit my mom's friend's kids. They usually just wanted a picture of Batman or whoever their favorite was but sometimes there was a kid who got it and had fun with it.

I want to try that here and see if it catches on. Until I get a guest, I'll try it myself and have some content as well as practice under the pencil. Hopefully with enough interest, polls in chat will decide what happens.

Maybe it works. We'll see. And Maybe I'll see you there.
