Info from Licensor: "My son had been battling with me for about 2 years with a bad attitude, different levels of disrespect, failing at school, not listening, doing what he wants to do, sagging his pants, and talking a certain way. I would talk (gently, as well as angrily at times), take things away, ground him, get therapy, put him in sports, even get a mentor for him. Nothing worked. He lives in a loving, structured home with myself (his mother), little brother (who's 4 years younger), and my mother's partner. He has a great grandmother across the ocean who he speaks with weekly. Everyone that loves him has tried to help him and he just keeps rejecting us all. All due to his father leaving the family for drugs and women after a 24 years of marriage. His anger is not towards anything I've done or the family, but towards the frustration, confusion of his father leaving 7 years ago. After 2 years, he and his brother saw their father for just a few days and he hasn't returned in 5 years. I've spent countless hours showing my sons and daughter how to forgive their father.

So, moving forward to this day, my son took money from me again and lied over and over again. Even though he stated that he has taken money from me before. At this point, I was done! He didn't want to stand on the corner to learn his lesson. Instead, he wanted me to take him to the police station to be arrested. After being at the PD station for a few minutes, reality kicked in and he wanted to stand on the corner. Even though he was still giving attitude, he ended up apologizing and became a different/changed for the better young man. I have not had 1 attitude or any form of disrespect from him since this day. He's been as kind and loving as I knew he could be. He has even forgiven his father who abandoned him."
