After the critical success of my Recent DragonBall Manga Kid Chichi VS Anime Kid Chichi Video,this inspired me to do another Manga VS ANime comparisions Video,this time on the Oscured 80's Toei Animation Gem "Hai Step Jun",and just like with shows like Ranma 1/2,Urusei Yatsura,Sailor Moon,Kimagure Orange Road,Kinnikuman,Dragonball,Tiger Mask and Dr Slump & Arale Chan,Hai Step Jun also started out as a Manga and than it was adapted into an Anime,and the Manga is even more obscured to find than the anime episodes. However,I recently found some high quality manga scans which were leaked out on Twitter:P

which gave me the idea for this Comparision video! The Anime went under quite alot of unique changes when it was adapted from the Manga. the Manga had an old school artstyle similar to shows like Captain Tsubasa,80's Urusei Yatsura and Ashita no Joe,while the anime version had a more typical 80's Shoujo Anime artstyle:P

for example,in the Manga,Jun Nonomiya had Black Hair + Yellow shirt and Purple Overalls + Pink School Uniform,plus Jun had a much more cartoonier design with all these over the top facial expressions.lol (In the anime version,jun also ocationally had over the top facial expressions,but not to the extent that the manga version of her has!)

In the Anime however,Jun Nonomiya was completly redesigned to resemble more of a traditional 80's Shoujo character which she was now given Orange Hair + Yellow shirt and Green/Blue Overalls + Red and White Sailor School Uniform,which personally I pefer this design way better.lol

But it's also interesting to see what Jun looked like in the Manga:P also speaking of which,in the Manga,Jun's Robot Buddy Kichinosuke had a generic Nes R.O.B. the Robot design,while in the anime adaptation,he was given a new redesign to have him resemble more of Bomberman from Hudson Soft's/Konami's Bomberman series.lol
