It’s National Mentoring Month and that means local organizations have been hard at work making a difference in people’s lives. Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lethbridge and District has been serving our community since 1973. Jen Visser, the executive director of the group, says there are currently 93 children waiting to be matched with a big brother or sister.

Visser says the organization is looking for 31 people to sign up as a big this year, with six having joined so far.
