But remember that only the surface of the ocean is turbulent in the storm

Beneath the surface is the constant undulating rhythm of the sea

Our roster this morning started with 3 consecutive male patients. The first two were both wearing non holiday associated orange shirts. And both were working on sacral chakra orientated pain that manifested physically as a sacral adjustment

Sacral chakra color integration is also orange… they were wearing their medicine

The third male patient was unconsciously celebrating his chiropractic anniversary. He came in one year ago on this EXACT date. And in previous years he has consistently been visiting in September/ October/ November.

I asked him if he underwent any trauma this time of year in his childhood. He told me that when he was a child he was sent to the shelter this time of year. He didn’t have anyone

He reiterated he doesn’t consider it traumatic. It was just a big change

Then I remembered having this exact conversation last year… so I made a note in his file… and then I’ll be reminded what we’re actually treating in October 2023

Our next patient was this fascinating older German woman and I got to practice my 10 German words

"Lie on your stomach, breathe, relax, lie on your back, breathe, gentle, soft, very good, sit up, thank you and you’re welcome"

Then I saw an old student from Penn State. He loved me as a professor, but loves me even more as his chiro

There were 2 sisters from India, we discussed meanings of names, the Vedas, and artificial intelligence

Then there was the acupuncturist and her husband who drive up from Maryland every few months. It’s always interesting to see other practitioners who have a grasp on the psycho-social-subconscious- spiritual aspects of pain… and pain relief

Now, the most rare event of today was the always epic and encouraging EAGLE spotting

Two eagles actually

But i would not have seen them if it weren’t for you my friends

Bc often on Wednesday nights I am still editing as the day turns and the morning light approaches. And last night went late. So late that I slept through my alarm. Then my oldest offspring missed the bus. Which was the reason we were on that road to see the eagles, so that I could tell you now

Eagle medicine is SPIRIT

When you’re seeing an eagle, it’s a reminder of the ineffable
