Pilot and the Persuaders link up for today's Segue City Special as Hump Day is in full force. All the NFL Wild Card games are finished and now the grind to the Super Bowl continues with the excitement of all the new commercials that will be played during the game. We're curious to see how advertisers are going to craft 30 and 60 second commercials that will hold the average viewer now that the average attention span is 6 seconds... and besides, spending all that money is incredibly stupid especially when a lot of people are backing away entirely from EVs and other frou frou stuff...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
