At least 8 people shot during Martin Luther King Day celebration in Florida

At least eight people were injured in a shooting at a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event in Fort Pierce, Florida, authorities said. Footage posted by Yeen Jaylan, who had livestreamed footage of the parade earlier that day on Facebook, shows people running for cover near Ilous Ellis Park.
