Digimon Ghost Game Episode 59: Jiraiya - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of Digimon Ghost Game Episode 59! This episode featured Tonosama Gekomon and Gekomon as the monsters of the week who were inadvertently causing harm to innocent people while trying to fight crime (of course lol). There were some really sweet scenes with Kiyoshiro on a date with his new waifu, Meru (a fellow otaku) watching a live action sentai performance before Tonosama Gekomon interrupted it looking for "Jiraiya-dono." Lots of great moments with Kiyoshiro protecting the civilians from Tonosama Gekomon and Gulusgammamon appearing again, which took me by surprise. I also found it interesting that they showed the dark evolutions of Agumon, Gargomon, and WarGrowlmon looking on from afar when Gulusgammamon digivolved. Despite the rushed ending, it was still another solid episode and I am 99% sure that we will see the debut of Jellymon's mega evolution in the next episode, so stay tuned for my review of episode 60 sometime next week.
