Legal Immigration #SavesLives: Mexico Immigration Agents 'Grupo Beta' rescues 3 abandoned children

The "Beta Group" from Piedras Negras (a rescue organization) of the National Institute of Migration (INM) in the state of Coahuila rescued three minors on Wednesday. They were alone on an islet in the Rio Grande.

INM personnel found three girls in the dry brush. The oldest protected the youngest in her arms, while a third carried a backpack. They were provided with life jackets on the aircraft and their state of health was verified.

On the mainland, on the Mexican side, they were awaited by INM and GN personnel, where one of them reported that they were sisters from El Salvador and were 9, 6, and 1 year 6 months old.

They were placed under the guardianship of the local System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family (DIF), for their attention and care.
