How to Gain Confidence After an Injury in The Gym

Covering a topic important to me as I navigate through having 3 surgeries on my pec, here is how to gain confidence after an Injury in the gym.
A little backstory, I tore my tech major, and then head to have two more surgeries in the future due to an infection in the suture anchors, which caused me to lose a lot of confidence in my fitness while I’m in the gym. I don’t have the confidence to try new exercises like I used to because I have a big fear of re-injuring myself. It’s very important to take it slow but it’s also important to not let me yourself when you’re ready to do something new.

Always consult with the doctor on what you should do after injury. Physiotherapists are your best help with post injury recovery as well.
