EMTs Charged with FIRST-DEGREE MURDER after Strapping Man to Stretcher Facedown

The Sangamon County coroner’s office stated that the cause of death was “compressional and positional asphyxia due to prone facedown restraint on a paramedic transportation cot/stretcher by tightened straps across the back and lower body” with the death being ruled a homicide.
