Flavoured Bread - Nutmeg Molasses

INGREDIENTS
2 cups of Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup of warm water
1 table spoon Quick Rise yeast
¼ teaspoon Molasses (1/2 teaspoon of Sugar if you don’t have these two ingredients)
½ teaspoon of Nutmeg Jam (Any other Jam would do)
1 cup of butter room temperature (or margarine if you prefer)
1/3 teaspoon of salt (or A pinch of salt)

PREPARATION
Wet Ingredients
Dissolve the Nutmeg jam and molasses into the warm water. You can remove any lumps with a strainer. If you don’t have these ingredients, use any jam or sugar. Molasses and Nutmeg Jam gives the bread a lovely fragrant with a hint of sweetness when you smell the bread. This will not make the bread sweet tasting.

Dry Ingredients – Yeast added to the dry ingredient
In a large mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and the butter, use your fingers to get the butter mixed thoroughly mixing in with the flour salt and yeast. It should feel a bit silky with the butter is completely melted through.
Form a whole in the middle of the flour, and pour the warm water mix into the middle. Use a fork to mix the wet and dry ingredients until it starts forming a dough.
Use your hands to knead the flour for 4-5 minutes, form in a disc and let it rest for 20 mins. Cover with plastic wrap, towel and black bag. It will double in size quicker. You can knead it again for 2-3 minutes and place into the bread pan to rise for another 45 mins - hour before baking.

Baking & Oven INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat at 350 degrees
Bake the bread at 350 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes Then bake it for another 30 -35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Let it cool down before slicing.
