Joti Brar on the proposed anti-worker laws aiming to limit strikes and protests

CPGB-ML vice-chair Joti Brar explains that the government plans to expand already wide-ranging police powers in preparation for suppressing outbreaks of anger by Britain's working masses as inflation spirals out of control and the capitalist economic crisis deepens.

Meanwhile, plans to introduce in a law mandating 'minimum service' levels is esentially a negation of the only real right that workers have in a capitalist economy: the right to collectively withdraw our labour in order to fight for better pay and conditions. Without this right in the present economic system, the workers have nothing.
