Quotes
"Now, it’s important to show people to get started. Just get into one because it’ll be so much easier as you go.”

“COVID was my big changer.”

“I think this business that I fully transitioned to rely on, that I’ve built during the past 8 years may just disappear. And I needed to think fast.”

“I come from growing up in lack and struggle. I still am working on this and the money. I’m good at [handling] the stress and the fear, but I haven’t healed yet."

“The real estate world is really detrimental for me… The measures of success in this world are units and how much money you’re making. They say that's how you’re ‘worthy’ or not.”

“The people in the “financially independent” world are so much different. If I hit this specific number, I would have enough. And then I can do whatever I want.”

“If I just sit and meditate. And I go, “What do I need to feel today? What is missing?” Then I pursue that, I’ll be a lot happier than waking up and thinking, “These are my goals.”

“Can we find other measures of success that have to do with health, happiness, and spirituality?”

“A goal is a contract you yourself to make yourself unhappy until you reach this outcome. Essentially, all goals are delaying satisfaction.”

“I just don’t take time for granted the same way.”

“Even if you just have one or two properties that you hold for 30 years and they pay off, you end up with quite a lot on the other side.”

“Frugality is a muscle.”

Concepts
Acquire one property at a time. You do not need to get two or more at the same time. Starting small can get the wheels going for you.
Some problems might arise out of the blue. The ability to think on your feet and identify possible solutions to your problem is what makes you a good entrepreneur.
Even in times of difficulty, some opportunities may present themselves to you. But it is up to you to make the choice to take them.
Having emotional responses to the challenges you face may come from your past experiences. In time, you’ll learn to manage these emotions–take your time.
Shifting your perspective into financial freedom is much more “freeing and safer” than counting your accomplishments and properties you have.
Focusing on the things that you want to feel and experience can make you feel a lot happier than just concentrating on your tasks and whatnot.
Your goal sits on a very thin line between motivation and a contract for unhappiness. So be careful how you perceive it.
Zeona’s mom passed as she was reaching financial independence. This independence allowed her to grieve without thinking about work and other responsibilities. And so, she was able to go through grief in her own time and pace.
There’s nothing wrong with living a frugal life even if you’re financially stable.
Real estate is an avenue to faster financial freedom.
