Kyrgyzstan's 'warm lake' Issyk-Kul freezes over

The Issyk-Kul lake in northern Kyrgyzstan, which traditionally never freezes due to the lake's depth and natural warmth of water, froze over due to extreme cold temperatures on Saturday (January 14).
