Singer Alex Jones of Undeath speaks with John the Ninja for the release of their sophomore effort "It's Time...to Rise from the Grave". Undeath is one of the new wave of Death Metal bands emerging out of the pandemic. Not only have they revitalized the genre of music, but have garnered the respect of fans and Death Metal bands alike in their short time. EST in 2018 they released their debut album "Lesions Of A Different Kind" in 2020 after signing with Prosthetic Records. With the pandemic it was a blessing in disguise as they where one of the few bands that had music out their for consumption and the response was overwhelming. They toured with "Black Dahlia Murder" were they where exposed to who huge new fan base and established themselves as one of the elite in the music genre.

Undeath has merch, IPA, Crocs, and more but their music is what is making them the hottest band in the Death metal community. Fast and heavy riffs, harmonic solos, and growling that will give you nightmares. Aside from that, Alex the person is a great guy who had alot of insight. He has a love for his craft and even has suffered physically for it to perform for the masses. His encyclopedic memory of bands and music across all realms is also impressive and something to marvel at. The music may be brutal, but Alex and his band mates are the most chill guys you will ever meet.
