I knew I wanted to start this Series of with something killer.Something unbelievably well done , unique , and with attention to detail and immersion higher than 99% of Forge Maps. A very high bar. Pat Sounds has been gaining talent in map design for the last 5 years. His excellent maps selected for matchmaking into Halo 5 put him up there with the best of the best and featured unique and interesting FX and Lighting to make them not only playable but memorable as well.When I saw this map it blew me away. Especially considering the time available that far to come up with this look. The architecture ever so slightly manipulated giving it an almost Edgar Allen Poe feel mixed with Castlevania Sympohony of the night. It gave me goosebumps. Pat Sounds has crafted out a masterpiece of design inside Halo Infinite and it just so happens we can play Halo on it too. Astounding work that proves he is in the master class of The Halo Forge Community. If this is his first then man, wait until his last. Congrats at one hell of a map.Fitting that an iForge OG can start of this series and that sir is rad indeed.
Close competition and praises as well to Xdemption , CertifiedChamp , Squally DaBeanz , Infinite Forges , Black Picture and TheSilenceBroken. All of them nearly took the 1st slot with Xdemption being very close.
