2023 Hyundai Tucson – The Hyundai Tucson has been around since 2004 and entered its third generation in 2016. Despite the redesign just five years ago, the compact CUV segment has changed a lot since then, and we expect Hyundai to adapt to the fully redesigned Tucson 2023. Hyundai Tucson is hugely popular with U.S. buyers, with unit sales growing by 290 percent since the SUV was last redesigned in 2014. To continue that trend, Hyundai has brought a sweeping redesign to Tucson, drawing on the Vision T concept’s uncluttered and futuristic design cues and other recently redesigned vehicle styles.
2023 Hyundai Tucson Engine
The 2023 Hyundai Tucson will probably be offered three new or updated powertrain configurations, including gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid versions. The internal combustion model is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that emits 178 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque and is attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission. On the hybrid side, the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine extinguishes, along with a hybrid system, 229 horsepower, and 258 lb-ft of torque. Hybrid systems are equipped with continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
2023 Hyundai Tucson Features
Standard features will include an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, some Bluetooth connectivity, and more. There will also be an optional Bose premium audio system for audiophiles and smartphones as a key. Hyundai would only go so far as to say that some Tucson variants would accept all-wheel drive and noted that there would be a separate debut for the North American version of the 2022 Tucson. The New Tucson will also be offered in the N-Line variant and will be available in all markets. Hyundai did not give us details on what the N-Line could need, but we speculated that it would be equipped with the same engine on the Sonata N-Line, a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four that emits 290 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The Tucson 2023 redesign clearly starts with the front grille. Daytime running lights have been integrated into the gem-like grille design that sits at the base of a long hood with a sonata-like horizontal line flowing through it.
Tucson’s interior adopts a simple design centered around an 8.0-inch standard infotainment touchscreen or an optional 10.3-inch touchscreen—both upgraded from the model year out.
