On January 12th, 2023, The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, has released a preliminary report which states there have been a total of 510 UAP reports as of August 30th 2022, with 366 UFO events being logged since March 5th 2021.

The ODNI report quotes, "UAP events continue to occur in restricted or sensitive airspace, highlighting possible concerns for safety of flight, or adversary collection activity."

Out of the 366 reports, 195 reports were dismissed as Unmanned Aircraft System, or UAS-like entities; balloon or balloon-like entities; or attributed to clutter such as birds, weather events, or airborne debris, like plastic bags.

A majority of the 171 remaining new UAP reports, originates from U.S. Navy, and U.S. Air Force aviators and operators, who witnessed the UAP, during the course of their duties, and reported the events through official channels.

This is probably a good time to mention that in this report, it states that the National Defense Authorization Act, has expanded the definition of UAP to include: air, sea, and transmedium objects.

U.S. Navy pilots have filmed these Unidentified Submersible Objects, or '"transmedium crafts,'" as they skim above the waves, dive into and exit the oceans, and fly off into space.
