Improvisation Practice With The Night Soul (Am Backing Track) - Marco Sponza

This is what I've been working on for the past few weeks to at least make noodling worth while. I put on a backing track and instead of just going through the noodling motions, I try now to create a song/melody/motiff. I figure this would train not only my hands and rhythm but also my ear as I try to transpose what I hear inside my head into the guitar, I find that when I am not recording it, I move freely and play smoother than when I record it. There is something about that darn record button that onece pressed releases chaos! I figuire I shjould do this more often and not be afraid to put myslef out there during these practice sessions until I get better at it. In the end of the day it is better than just mindless noodling. Trying to constract something on the fly is toucher than nails but will I'm sure be a benefit at some point specially as I now committed to learn the notes on the entire fretboard and some scales I have neglected to work on. Cheers!
