Everything that happens in your life is always tied to a choice, and sometimes, even if it is the right one, that choice comes with so much pain and sacrifices. Doing the right thing come with a lot of suffering and solitude. Therefore, you learn not to be attached to anything and to not expect anything in return because all that it will do is cause you more suffering.
Doing the right thing is a choice. Causing pain to others is a choice. To live with dignity and honor is a choice.
Sometimes even though people don’t love you in return, you can feel a lot of joy and comfort because you did the right thing and love them as much as you can. You have to become like water and learn to flow around the hurting and disappointment, because you will find people who live only to make your life miserable. You become like water and learn to no retaliate.
Everything is a choice. You choose not to do wrong to others. You choose to love and take care of your family. You choose not to hurt others, even if you know they will not hesitate to hurt you.
