Hemlock shingles

It's slow going around windows and doors, I made it to the top and have just a finish row to put on, if I can figure out how to do it. When coming to a straight end it's easy but when the end or top is at an angle it's harder. I have to figure out when to stop cutting the tops of shingles, takes lot of concentration, even shingle placement is like a puzzle for me, takes a lot concentration, another one of my weak points.... Today was around 30*, shingles was like handling icicles, at end of day I was freezing........
