A radio moderator who dreaded she would be imprisoned or killed as a result of her sexuality, escaped her local Ghana and utilized her cousin's

personality to get work in the UK, a court has heard.

Eunice Owusu, 34, says she was assaulted and dependent upon sexual maltreatment by her significant other in Ghana, later

. He said reports of gay individuals are being singed alive or battered to the point of death.

Owusu, of Parkfield Way, in Stockton, confessed to five counts of extortion, more than a 18-month time span in 2021-2022

. The court heard that at one point she held down four separate seasonal positions in the consideration area.

Emma Atkinson, arraigning, let the court know that Owusu's migration status has been
"put aside, forthcoming the result of the present sentence. On the off chance that she is condemned to a year or more in jail,

she faces removal.

"I couldn't say whether she could guarantee refuge" Ms Atkinson added.

Mr Nixon said that his client is a woman who had no qualification to work and gambled being ousted,

Judge Howard Crowson told Owusu, "The installments made to you,

it very well may be contended, caused no monetary misfortune. You worked in care homes during Coronavirus, during troublesome times.

You have solid elements in your own moderation. I'm convinced to take a course which is somewhat not quite the same as the rules.

Owusu was allowed a year local area request. She should go to 30 restoration days and complete 120-hours of neglected work.
