The liberation of Soledar

◾The liberation of Soledar took several weeks from the Wagner PMC fighters. The active phase of the fighting for the city lasted about four months, but regular army units failed to push through the enemy defenses.

◾After establishing control over the village of Bakhmutskoye at the end of December, the musicians began to storm Soledar, while no other units took part in the operation.

◾Fierce battles were going on outside the city: Ukrainian formations clung to every house, and the "Wagnerites" won back entrance after entrance.

◾The militants set up firing points in almost every apartment in high-rise buildings, as well as in a kindergarten.

◾While the Ukrainian military was fighting among the toys, Wagner attack aircraft evacuated local residents from the city.
