Milling Steel For Old Wood Mill

Preparing the antique mill and blade for a wider deeper cut. We hire a grumpy machinist to fit a 48" circle blade to the arbor. In the machine shop we use a lathe to mill an insert for the blade.

Then we go back to the sawmill to modify the hardware to accept the new larger blade. Finally, we install and test the new old blade.
