Russian dad travels 1000 km to visit son on front lines
A father-son reunion with a difference has gone viral after video footage of it was shared online. 24-year-old Moscow resident Artyom has been taking part in the special military operation for three months, while his father Viktor works with the humanitarian battalion, supplying the troops with food, clothing, and even drones. When he learned the battalion was going to Zaporozhye, he jumped at the chance to make an impromptu road trip. Seven days and 1000 km later, Viktor was able to find his son by using his call sign, ‘Zina,’ and their tearful reunion has melted the hearts of Russian speakers all over the internet.
