Family Dinners A Week Of Meals What We Eat In A Week Kosher Orthodox Jewish Quick And Easy Family Dinners For The Week || Kosher || Sonya’s Prep

I love watching dinner prep videos to get loads of inspiration for what to cook for my family and thought that this would make a fun video for you to see a week of meals that I Prepare as a busy working mom. I’ll take you along day by day and show you what I prep.

Borscht Soup
BBQ Chicken Wings and Mustard Fries
Mushroom Barley Soup
Burger Roll and Fries

Borscht Soup

Add 3 tbsp of oil to a soup pot
Add 1 diced onion and sauté
Shred carrot and add to soup
Dice a red pepper & Potato and add to the soup
Shred 1 tomato add to the pot with 1 tablespoons of tomato paste
Add 2 large shredded beets
Season everything with
2 tsp of salt
1.5 tsp cumin
1.5 tsp coriander
1 tbsp chicken consome
1 tsp pepper
1 bay leaf
Add water to fill pot
Bring everything to a boil, reduce heat and let it cook for 30 minutes until so the vegetables are cooked through.
Add 3 large handfuls of shredded cabbage. Close the lid and allow to cook for 10 minutes until softened. Add a whole bunch of parsley, mix and enjoy. Pro tip add a few tablespoonsof vinegar to retain color.

BBQ Chicken Wings and Mustard Fries
-Wash and clean the wings
Place on a cookie sheet
Season with salt, pepper and paprika
Bake both sides on broil until golden brown

Cut potatoes into wedges. Season with S/P avocado oil and mustard. Bake in a single layerat 500F.

Mushroom Barley Soup Recipe:
Into a pot add in 3 tablespoons of avocado oil
Add 2 containers of mushrooms and saute
Remove when done into a separate bowl.
Add celery, carrot and onion to pot and cook for 7 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add oil if needed. Add 1 cup of washed and drained bareley. Return mushrooms to the soup. Fill pot with stock of choice and 3 bay leaves. Cook for 40 minutes. Garnish with dill.

Burger Roll:
Defrost puff pastry and slightly roll out.
Place ground beef mixed with 1 ground onion onto puff pastry. Season with S/P paprika cumin and coriander. Roll the puff pastry like a log and pinch ends closed. Egg wash and bake at 350 for 1-1.5 hours until fully cooked through.
