If you are finishing a basement, you will likely need to hang and finish drywall. This video will show you my tips and tricks for installing drywall in a basement based on my firsthand experience.

🛠🧰 Tools needed to Install Drywall in a Basement:
- Drywall Tape: https://amzn.to/3GX6P0Y
- Drywall Knives: https://amzn.to/3X3ChjR

Below are the general Tips and Tricks for Installing Drywall:
1. Hang the Drywall with drywall screws every 16" O.C.
2. Apply joint compound to the drywall seams.
3. Apply drywall tape to the seams and remove and excess.
4. Apply drywall tape to the inside corners.
5. Apply corner bead to the outside corners.
6. Apply additional joint compound with 10" drywall knife.
7. Apply final coat of joint compound with 12" drywall knife.
8. Sand off any rough spots with 120 grit sandpaper or sanding screen.

Please note that I do not claim to be a Drywall expert by any means. Drywall finishing is an "art" and there are a lot of people who can do a better job explaining and demonstrating the drywall finishing process than I can. One of the best explanations I have found is this video here: https://youtu.be/Mup3RHnYggA
