Humanist propaganda to reframe it as not a religion #shorts

Atheist humanists had to use propaganda, starting in the mid 80s, to change the accurate impression that humanism was a religion - even though it was founded explicitly as a religion, a replacement for Christianity, cannibalising it for their own social and political purposes. It was reframed as merely a philosophy, as atheists insist today, though its founders would repeatedly deem it religious.
