It is the start of upper chakras, and enables the giving and receiving of love, unconditional acceptance to and from others, and to oneself. It is located in the centre of the chest above or near the physical heart. It is associated with the heart and lungs, the cardio-vascular system. Breath serves to greatly assist and support the heart chakra, as with all the others.

The heart chakra serves us and all we are connected to, provides the space from which all people can loosen and shake off the insecurities of separated self (ego). Enabling us to experience a higher and deeper sense of belonging to the world, each other and the multiverse.
