The Galway Shawl

Recording this again for my 'Return to Tipperary' album, due out soon.

No details about who wrote this song, but it was collected in 1936 in Dungiven:

The Irish National Library has some good photos, but unfortunately they aren't downloadable and come with watermarks (even though the photos themselves are well out of copyright). I have sourced some of them from others sites.
