Healing Japan Travel
A sanctuary near Shibuya Station, where buildings from the Edo period still remain.
The shrine is also the origin of Kinnomaru, a Buddhist monk and warrior from the late Heian period, who prayed for success before making a direct appeal to Ieyasu Tokugawa, the first shogun of the Edo period.
The shrine is where Kasuga-no-Kakari prayed for success before appealing directly to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first Shogun of the Edo period, regarding Iemitsu.
If you have a strong wish, God will grant it.
There is also a legend that Minamoto no Yoritomo sent the Kaneo cherry tree from Kamakura in memory of Kaneo-maru.
The shrine grounds and the Kaneomaru Mikageido Hall are famous places that were even depicted in the Edo period's Edo Meisho Zue (Edo period famous places).
It is amazing that such a historic shrine remains so close to Shibuya Station.
Please come and experience it for yourself.

If you are interested in learning more about shrines and temples, please write to us with your questions. There are shrines everywhere in Japan. Akihabara in Tokyo is famous for its electric town, but there are shrines even in its back alleys.
I hope that when people from other countries visit Japan, they will feel the sanctity of shrines and clear their minds.
I am not an expert, but I would like to answer questions as I learn more myself. Once I have some of the questions finalized, I will put them on video. Please write to me.
