These instruments can include the playing of one gong or more gongs of various sizes which is called a 'GONG BATH'.

The person or group of people can sit or sometimes lie on mats and allow the harmonious sounds from the gongs or other sound instruments to envelope and surround their bodies with vibrational healing sounds.
This is where the name 'gong bath' originated.
