Luke 19:1-10 (TLV) ~ Now Yahshua entered Jericho and was passing through. And here was a man by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. Zacchaeus was trying to see who Yahshua was, but he couldn’t because of the crowd, for he was short in height. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Yahshua, for He was about to pass through that way. When Yahshua ( aka Jesus Christ / Yeshua ) came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.” Zacchaeus hurried and came down and welcomed Him joyfully. But when everyone saw it, they began to grumble, saying, “Yahshua has gone to be the guest of a sinner!” But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Master; “Look, Master, half of my possessions I give to the poor, and if I have somehow cheated anyone, I repay four times as much!” Then Yahshua said to him, “Today salvation has come to this home, because he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Straitway Life Bible Commentary From a Hebrew Roots Perspective For 01/09/2023. Ok, you've repented of sinning against your neighbor. Now what? Did you set things right? Is it a must to make restoration or restitution? True repentance works restitution. Right? Is restoration required for forgiveness and salvation? Does Yahshua ( aka Yeshua / Jesus Christ ) Himself give us the answer? How to deal with our past sins and make restitution. Can you make restitution and reconciliation when it is not practically possible? ( Recorded From Phoenix, Arizona )

Welcome one and all, friends, and saints of the Most High YAH. We greet you in the mighty name of Yahshua Messiah ( Jesus Christ ). We are a part of the Israel of God teaching the pure and unadulterated word of Almighty Yahweh from both the Hebrew and New Testament scriptures. We are not a so-called sacred name group who never uses the name of Jesus Christ but we do pursue using the real Hebrew names of the Father and Son. Psalm 68:4 (NKJV) reads: "Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds by His name YAH, and rejoice before Him". By keeping His Torah as the Holy Spirit leads ( honoring His commands ) and imitating the living Torah ( Christ ), we show our love for our great Elohim. God's grace given to us through our savior Yahshua does not give us license to continue practicing sin ( the breaking of His laws ). 1 John 2:3-4 reads: "And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says I know Him, and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him". HalleluYAH

We use a variety of bible translations to help us better discover and understand the original intent of the author, the context of a bible passage, and the meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek texts. We embrace the weekly seventh day Shabbat ( sabbath day ) and annual holy days of Yahweh God, adhere to the dietary food laws, and guard the Torah seeking to understand and apply it more fully in light of what has been revealed through Jesus and the apostles in new testament scripture.
