If you'r a fan of the Nola style of metal you will know this important figure. Tommy Buckley of Crowbar and Soilent Green is one of the most accomplished drummers in his field. He is the 2nd longest tenured member of the 90's Legendary band "Crowbar" out of New Orleans and the bands longest running drummer. Since he was 3 years old Tommy has been playing the drums and living a charmed life. He has survived cancer, car accidents, natural disasters, and life altering situation all while having a positive outlook on life and a smile.

Tommy gave me a ring to talk about Crowbar's newest album Zero and Below and I must say it was so cool. Turns out we both had a lot in common, the biggest thing being that we where Cross Country runners at our schools. Before and after the interview we chatted it up, but it was the interview itself that truly was the meat and potatoes of our chat.

Tommy talked about how he fought cancer and helped others in his situation, his relationship with Kirk Windstein "Crowbar singer and guitarist", and how they've been friends through the years, we had a great laugh at 17:50 about "Zero and Below", and so much more. This Louisiana native is an inspiration with his grove and style of drumming. Go Check Out "CROWBAR" on "The Riff Beast Tour" at a city near you!!!
