China Faces Rocky Road to COVID Recovery

China's zero-COVID policy shuttered its economy in 2022. Many expect the country's GDP to fall far short of the government's growth target for 2022. Beijing has indicated it wants to turn things around in the coming year by boosting consumption, but that may be easier said than done.
