Walgreens Exec Virtue Signal, Claims Shoplifting Problem Has Been Completely Blown Out of Proportion

Because of the steps Walgreens has taken in response to the rampant theft of merchandise from its retail locations, the company’s losses due to stealing have noticeably decreased recently in the last quarter. Instead of acknowledging this and the cause for it, a executive with the company decided to take this decrease, virtue signal about it and claim that he and the company had been blowing the whole shoplifting problem out proportion. This is when they closed multiple locations in San Francisco California alone in response to the amount of theft taking place at them as a means of countering it and hired additional security for other locations as well. Which of course he wants all of us to believe had absolutely nothing to do with the decrease in merchandise shrinkage.
