As I was praying about todays message the Lord was very careful to direct me regarding what was on His heart. As I was preparing a message the bottom fell out of it. I knew that there was something else.

The Holy Spirit made it clear to me in my heart what Jesus distinctly wanted. After all, my preparation prayers for messages are always one question. "What is on your heart Lord? Show me. Stir up my heart."

Immediately my heart began stirring. Clearly and strongly I knew. I could hear Him in my heart saying, "Do not burden them with how to give Me more. They have little power and are struggling. Tell them I have compassion on them."

I remembered that word Jesus spoke, "I have compassion on the multitude..."Mark 8:2.

What I was receiving was so much more than what I can put into words. What Jesus is concerned about much more than anything is the weariness and heaviness in people's lives.

Daniel was faced with a heavy decision. Either he can stop praying for thirty days and live. Or to go on praying and face certain death.

"Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime." Daniel 6:10.

His windows "being opened." That struck me. They were not flung open, but were already opened towards the east where he prayed towards Jerusalem where the temple was. Where the ark of the covenant was. Where the Presence of God was.

I thought to myself, are the windows of our hearts opened towards the Heavenly Jerusalem to pray where Jesus Christ is enthroned as King? It is time to open your windows and leave them open, and pray just like Daniel did, and was heard and saved out of the lions mouths.

“Have you been asking God what He is going to do? He will never tell you. God does not tell you what He is going to do; He reveals to you Who He is.”
