Ashli Babbitt's Mother Arrested on the Anniversary of her Death 👮=🐷

You couldn't make up worse optics if you tried.

The mother of Ashli Babbitt, (Micki Witthoeft, 58) the woman killed by a United States Capitol Police officer on Jan. 6, was arrested outside of the Capitol on Friday, the two-year anniversary of her daughter's death.

In footage circulated on social media by streamer Woke Societies, Micki Witthoeft was seen being handcuffed and taken into custody by multiple police officers while onlookers protested.

"You murdered [Ashli] inside the Capitol, now you're going to arrest her?" one onlooker said.

"I did not murder her daughter," one officer replied in front of the crowd of people.

On Jan. 6, 2021, Babbitt, an unarmed Air Force veteran, was fatally shot by Lt. Michael Byrd. while attempting to make entry into the interior of the Capitol Building.

According to The National Pulse's Raheem Kassam, Witthoeft was arrested for "jaywalking."

As reported by Kyle Mazza of UNF News, the grieving mother was protesting with a group outside of the Capitol, holding signs with messages reading "JESUS IS LORD," as well as ones displaying the faces of Babbitt and Kevin Greeson, who also died during the Jan. 6 protests.

Though Greeson's wife said that he had high blood pressure and suffered a heart attack, the group of protestors maintain that he was a murder victim.

"MURDERED BY CAPITOL POLICE" could be read on the signs, below the faces of Babbitt and Greeson.

Rosanne Boyland was beaten to death by US Capitol Police Officer "Lila Morris."
Bodycam footage shows Rosanne was not behaving violently, but was pinned and pushed forward by the crowd behind her. Officer Lila Morris was swinging her club wildly at anyone and everyone in her path. Rosanne Boyland was hit in the head several times by Officer Morris, who continued beating her head and body after she collapsed to the ground unconscious. Rosanne Boyland died from her injuries. US Capitol Police Officer Lila Morris was not charged for this murder.

Ashli Babbitt was shot in the chest-neck area by US Capitol Police Lt. "Michael Byrd" after she attempted o avoid a group of Police Officers ascending the stairs below her into the already crowded and cramped room inside the US Capitol. Ashli Babbitt was also a diagnosed claustrophobic. Lt. Byrd claimed Ashli Babbitt presented a clear threat to career politicians inside the secure area. Video of the shooting does not show her behaving violently before or during her attempt to climb through a door window that had been previously busted out.
