Is hookup culture the new norm? Are marriages on the way out? Dating in the world today is kind of weird. You have access to an ungodly amount of people thanks to social media. Find someone attractive? All you have to do is slide in the dms. Prefer another approach? Hop on a dating site like Tinder or Bumble and get to swiping. Now that's not saying you're going to attract every person you dm or swipe on, but your dating pool is arguably greater than it has ever been. Right? Now I'm not here to shit on dating sites, I've done my fair share of swiping. But I'm always interested in how it affects our views on relationships. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe it does. In a world where you can constantly find someone better, someone more attractive, someone more successful, why lock yourself down with any one person? Do you think that as we become more and more connected, the whole idea of marriage will just become obsolete?
