Meditation Poses Sukhasana is For You
Sukhasana is a seated yoga pose that is often referred to as "Easy Pose" in English. It is a basic seated pose that is often used as a starting position for other seated poses, as well as for meditation. To come into Sukhasana, sit with your legs crossed, with your right ankle on top of your left ankle. Sit up tall, with your spine straight and your shoulders relaxed. Place your hands on your knees or thighs, or bring your hands to your heart in a mudra (a hand gesture used in yoga and meditation). Take a few deep breaths, and hold the pose for as long as is comfortable. Remember to keep your spine straight and your shoulders relaxed, and try to focus on your breath as you hold the pose.
