Fire & Black Smoke Rises Over Quinnesec, MI With Fire Department Responding | Jason Asselin

While dropping my son off at work Saturday afternoon we saw a plume of black smoke rising from a Quinnesec, MI neighborhood. I drove by to see what was on fire just as the Volunteer Breitung Township (Station One) Fire Department showed up to extinguish the structure fire or what was left of it. It appeared to be a shed though much of it was burned down already, but flames were still showing and I could feel the heat from where my car was parked!
In the video I talk about a "burn ban" in effect, that's because we're coming out of winter and everything is dry and dead in the surrounding area. People should not be burning anything outside right now, but obviously this is different. I'm glad it wasn't a house. 4 years ago yesterday I filmed a fully involved house fire in Kingsford, you can see that video here: https://youtu.be/fYqTrh5LSfY
