Railroad Crossing Signal Failure, Conductor Flags Crossing & A Dead Pull Up A Grade! | Jason Asselin

I caught up ELS 502 (SD40) and ELS 402 (GP38) of the Escanaba and Lake Superior Railroad as they approached Merriman West Road crossing where there are lights and bells to warn drivers of the approaching train but it wasn't working.. This train had to make a full stop, the conductor had to get off and stop traffic at this dangerous crossing with a hill just east of the tracks. Then off they go up a grade from a dead stop, you can see the power these 2 locomotives have.. WOW!
