The Twisted Top: Fast & Easy Crochet Project

This Twisted Top is so fun to make, very flattering and can be worn with the twist in the front or the back. It's made two rectangles of what I am calling the Diamond Lace stitch. One panel is flat, the other is twisted and the two are sewn together using a mattress stitch. Then I added some quick sleeves done in the same stitch in the round. Fast, fun and easy to make! I ended up using two skeins of a DK weight yarn to keep it light so that twist doesn't get too bulky, but you could make it even more lacy and do it with a lighter weight.

Here is a link to the graph I used to make the diamond lace stitch. It's a terribly blurry picture but I couldn't find anything better without making one myself.
