In this video, Josh Hawley stunned Vanessa Pappas when he grilled her for secrets she's keeping about Chinese company, TikTok.

Hawley grilled Vanessa about her connection to the company, and she had no answer.

"Vanessa, I want to know what the connection is between you, TikTok, and China?

"I'm the COO of TikTok," Vanessa responded.

This is a huge moment because it shows that there are employees of TikTok who are working on behalf of the Chinese government and not the American people.

"TikTok is a Chinese company. Do you have any connection or know of anyone else at the company having connections with Chinese Communist Party or CCP?" Hawley asked.

"No," Vanessa said.

Hawley argues that Pappas and her colleagues at TikTok should have come forward and admitted to the allegations months ago, instead of trying to cover it up.

"Trump was right," Hawley says in the video. "You can't hide from the truth, and the truth is that you're working for a Chinese company that's trying to manipulate the American people."
