California's Central Valley submerged after floods

Residents in California's vast Central Valley region are facing another round of powerful storms this week. Earlier, flooding from a New Year's Eve deluge forced evacuations of people in low-lying areas, including more than 1,000 inmates at a county jail, and also left one person dead.
