God has many ways of delivering us from our addiction. A KEY in getting His help once we've asked Him for it is to be PATIENT. And keep TRUSTING that He will. GOD'S time is usually NEVER our time (because we want everything NOW) ... but in eternity we'll come to understand that God's time is ALWAYS the right time.

After awhile, many people grow impatient and they quit trusting that God is going to help them for more reasons than just the TIMING issue. The devil constantly tries to get them to believe God isn't going to help them anyway. He'll brainwash them with this curse if they aren't aware of his subtle working: "You got yourself into it -- YOU get yourself out of it."

More times than not, God is more concerned that we FIRST become Saved than getting delivered from our addiction. (Getting free of our addiction first doesn't mean we'll chose Salvation in Christ later. Our need to be Saved FIRST deals with ALL our sins that must be forgiven by the shed blood of Jesus on the cross to stay out of hell; not JUST our sin of addiction).

This is the anchor promise that has helped MULTITUDES in every area of their life; not just dealing with addiction/s:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding; acknowledge Him in ALL your ways, and He will direct your path." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
