25,000 people paid homage to former Pope Benedict XVI on Tuesday morning, according to the Vatican Press Office. On Monday, some 65,000 people paid respects to the body of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI lying in state inside the St. Peter's Basilica, according to Vatican police via the Press Office of the Holy See.
