Towel Bite Neck Extensions

Snake a towel through a kettlebell and grab the opposite corners of the towel and put them together. Roll them a few times until they make a tight closure of the loop you just made and so they have enough material for you to bite on securely. Bite down, slowly lower the kettlebell into position until you can safely hold it with just your mouth. Extend your neck backwards squeezing the neck and traps, then lower it slowly until the chin touches the chest. These are also great for posture and can be performed with extension only without the neck flexion component as seen towards the end of the video.

Trainer Tips: Perform these at your own risk! This is an old school neck and jaw strengthening drill to strengthen the neck and help prevent being knocked out in a fight. Wear a mouthguard if you can.
